Snowmachine vs snowmobile

Alaska calls them snowmachines.  The rest of the U.S., uses the word snowmobile.

I predict a drastic shift in word usage thanks to Todd Palin.

A "snow machine" is a machine that makes snow for ski hills.

It is, always has been and always will be a snowmobile, sled or skidoo.

"clouds" are what make snow. A snow machine is a personal machine that you use use to travel across the snow.
