No gloating...
America sees what the Alaska already knew. Whether you support her politics or not, she is good.
I believe we have a race.
Oh, ok, I can't resist... I told you so part 1.

Yep.
My biggest worry right now is that I'm losing my cynicism. I have never rooted for a politician to succeed the way I'm now rooting for Governor Palin.
IG,
You should lose your cynicism. She is the real deal. She believes in everything she said.
Did you know that until this VP thing, she literally still flew coach on commercial airlines. She shops at safeway. I would be willing to bet she clipped coupons.
I think cynicism is the wrong word; skepticism might be a better way to describe it. I think we should always be skeptical of our leaders, no matter how much we like and admire them.
Politicians have a responsibility to serve their citizens, but citizens have perhaps an even greater responsibility - to watch over their politicians. It's what always bothered me about Obama the phenomenon, as opposed to Obama the candidate - no man deserves such blind devotion.
I'm rooting for Governor Palin - I like rooting for her. But at the end of the day, it's still my job to watch over her as if I didn't.
I expected her to be good. I've been behind her for a couple of months. But she blew me right out of my seat.
They need to pack her off to speak and speak and speak and speak between now and the election, because every time she does, she'll pull votes.
See my run-down.
