Here's a thought...
Here's a thought.
President-elect Obama chose not to send his kids to Chicago Public Schools, and then chose the head of the Chicago Public School District to be his education secretary.
Reminds me of that old saying...
What's not good enough for me, is good enough for everybody else.
Or something like that.

You're just bitter that the idiot ditz Palin didn't get to ride the McCain Train to the whitehouse.
Rory, where've you been? We miss you!
Perhaps you would like to share your opinion that Obama is taking out funding for the DC charter schools, that helped low income kids who could achieve more academically in the charter schools. Nice that he decides DC public schools are not good enough for his kids then takes away money so some already in charter schools in DC who are doing well will no longer be able to attend them and will have to enroll into public schools.
Anon,
I think Obama might be changing his tune... at least on charters.
I personally am agnostic on charters except for a. the principle and b. I am for anything that works.
What I don't get is that charters are cheaper than public schools... they cost less taxpayers money. Silly.
